Creating equations on the Web

Unfortunatley, adding algebraic expressions to webpages is not straight forward.  It is a three step process that is easy once you try it a few times.

Step 1

The first step is to go to this website where you can visually design the expression.  In case you were wondering, the expression is written is a publishing language called LaTeX.  LaTex is necessary because the webpage language (HTML) cannot handle mathematical expressions.  

Step 2

The second step is to copy the expression to this website and render the expression.

Step 3

The third step is to insert the HTML code into our class notes webpage.
